The Oblivious Right
By PAUL KRUGMAN
It all makes you wonder how these people ever ended up running the country in the first place. 53 percent of Americans said that the Iraq war wasn't worth it. And 50 percent say that "the administration deliberately misled the public about whether Iraq has weapons of mass destruction."
Depleted uranium: Dirty bombs, dirty missiles, dirty bullets
A death sentence here and abroad
by Leuren Moret
In simple words, DU “trashes the body.” When asked if the main purpose for using it was for destroying things and killing people, Fulk was more specific: “I would say that it is the perfect weapon for killing lots of people.”

Tragically, some women in their 20s and 30s who were sexual partners of exposed soldiers developed endometriosis and were forced to have hysterectomies because of health problems.

In a group of 251 soldiers from a study group in Mississippi who had all had normal babies before the Gulf War, 67 percent of their post-war babies were born with severe birth defects. They were born with missing legs, arms, organs or eyes or had immune system and blood diseases. In some veterans’ families now, the only normal or healthy members of the family are the children born before the war.

WHY AMERICANS REFUSE TO BELIEVE THE 9/11 EVIDENCE
The attacks of 9/11 were so unthinkable that most Americans would refuse to believe the complicity of their own government, even if presented with a mountain of evidence.
The perpetrators of 9/11 knew they were they protected by the blind loyalty of the American people who would refuse to believe they could have been involved. They knew that no one who cared for the nation would reveal the truth, for to seek justice would in essence bring down the nation.
Assume NO Animal Products Are Safe
Dr. Pat Brown, medical director for the U.S. Public Health Service, speculate that pigs and chickens could be harboring mad cow disease and passing it on to humans.
And while to date no pigs, chickens or turkeys have been reported with the disease, Michael Greger, M.D. of Cornell University says that these animals die so young, "they may not have time to develop symptoms," yet they could act as "silent carriers".
EATING DEER AND ELK CAN KILL YOU
A fatal brain disease is spreading in deer and elk... and hunters are dying from a very similar illness. The disease that struck the three hunters is ominously similar to another disease that's spreading in deer and elk in Colorado and Wyoming. This possible connection has some people pointing to deer meat and crying killer.

The accusation could prove true. The disease found in deer and elk is called Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), and it's closely related to Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), which is what killed the hunters. Both CJD and CWD are classified as "transmissible spongiform encephalopathies" (TSE). Diseases don't always make the leap from one species to another, but there is a connection between chronic wasting disease and Creutzfeldt - Jacob that has many scientists concerned: Another TSE-bovine spongiform chronic encephalopathy (BSE)-spread from cattle to humans in the United Kingdom, where it was dubbed "MAD COW DISEASE."
